With every movement and every note, Judith proved she was a star.
Judith’s confidence was obvious while she strolled across the large theater-in-the-round stage.
As opening act for multiplatinum singer, songwriter and actor Josh Groban’s “In the Round” tour, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in Las Vegas, Judith proved they were all right.
As well as performing in her own set, Judith returned on stage to sing “The Prayer” and “Remember When it Rains” with Josh.
Her praises have come from some of the biggest names in entertainment.
Award winning Morgan Neville, director of the documentary film “20 Feet from Stardom”, spotlighted Judith Hill and two others considered “hot” performers ready for stardom. This film follows the lives of Judith and the other former backup singers.
The film features Ray Charles, Sheryl Crow, Mick Jagger, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Bette Midler, David Bowie and Bruce Springsteen.
“20 Feet from Stardom” brings the viewers behind the scenes to tell the lives of backup singers.
Judith also contributed backing vocals on three tracks of Groban’s latest album, All That Echoes.
As backup singer for the megastars Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Elton John, Judith’s talent has been recognized.
Her appearance on NBC’s The “Voice” brought even more impressive performances.
Vocalist, songwriter and musician, Judith’s versatility provided many openings for her talents.

Recently signing with Sony Records, she will be recording her debut solo release.
Influenced by her musician parents, Robert “Pee Wee” Hill appeared as a bassist with Sly Stone, Jimmy Smith, and Bob Dylan. Her mother, Michiko Hill, played the keyboards with Rufus, Chaka Khan, Wayne Shorter and Billy Preston. They own Master’s Crib Recording Studio.
It was a way of life at home, watching her parents practice and on stage.
Showing talent at an early age, Judith wrote her first song at the age of four.
She also gained more experience singing in a different realm in Spike Lee’s film Red Hook Summer
