Judge Judy sued over pricey China dishes? The most famous judge on television is on the receiving end of a lawsuit that suggests that Judy conspired against a woman to prevent her from receiving the China in a divorce.
According to TMZ, Judge Judy purchased China dishes for the price of $50,000. Problem is according to the woman suing Judy, the dishes are worth about $500,000.
But why the lawsuit, you might ask?
Well, the woman suing Judge Judy believes that the famed TV judge intentionally conspired to keep the dishes away from her. According to the woman, who has since split from her husband, Judy and her ex got together to concoct a plan that would keep the prized possessions out of the now ex-wife’s possession.
And to do that, the ex-husband is now being accused of purposefully selling the china at a reduced value to Judy—all in the name of spite.
But now, the woman launching the lawsuit is seeking either the China itself or its perceived value. We’ll see what happens as the days and weeks roll on.
