According to WREG, the former Shelby County Criminal Court Judge became quite angry and verbally abusive when he showed up to Juvenile Court to represent a client in a child support case only to be told there was no record of the case.

The 66-year old Brown was warned by the presiding judge to calm down, but refused to comply. He was slapped with a contempt of court charge and ordered to stay two days in jail. However, after he continued yelling an additional 2 days was extended. The court staff was described as being completely shocked by his behavior.
