The Magistrate said he is granting bail to Oscar Pistorius. The main reason stated was that he does not see Pistorius as a flight risk.
Restrictions for bail include, Pistorius surrendering of his passport and all his firearms, no alcohol consumption and a fine equal to about $100,000 U.S.
Additionally, Pistorius is not allowed to go back to his home and will be staying at his uncle’s house in the town of Pretoria.
The trial is set for June 4th but that day may change.
What do you think? Did the judge make the right decision in granting Pistorius bail? Will the family of Reeva Steenkamp get the truth or is the South African court too politically correct?
