Juan Pablo Galavis might have fans of the reality show upset over future of The Bachelor contestants. The star of the current season has been saying some pretty harsh words about people who might be picked for the show in future seasons. According to The TV Page on Friday, the contestant of the reality show doesn't feel that the show can be anything more than straight people hooking up.

Sharing his opinion, it appears he has considered the idea of openly gay or bisexual Bachelor and told the outlet that he is 100% opposed. While Juan Pablo has no say over the decisions made on the next show, he definitely has opened a door for viewers to examine how the contestants aren't anything less than a typical guy.

“Where is the thin line to cross or not?” asked Juan Pablo when he was interviewed by The TV Page. “You have to respect everybody’s desires and way of living. But it would be too hard for TV.” Making sure everyone heard the words in context, the interview is posted on the website for all the fans to hear and it’s not exactly Juan’s best moment.

The shocking comments might not be that Juan Pablo was against the idea of a gay or bisexual Bachelor candidate, but that he said gay people are “more pervert in a sense.” Of course to counter his observation he makes sure everyone knows that he has gay friends. It begs viewers to ask exactly what he is implying?

Juan Pablo Galavis will be apologizing for his comments soon enough. It’s absolutely ridiculous to suggest a gay man or a bisexual man shouldn't be considered for The Bachelor. He sounds like a complete fool to even discuss this subject and let us all remember isn't his decision in the first place.
