Last weekend was a great time for fans, drivers, and even sponsors to interact and get revved up for the 2013 NASCAR season. Throughout the 55th annual Daytona 500 weekend, No. 42 Target Chevrolet driver Juan Pablo Montoya buddied up with Bullseye, giving his four-legged friend a behind-the-scenes tour of everything from the garage area to his own private motor coach.
Juan even brought Bullseye to the grid right before the race, where all of the cars line up in starting formation on pit road. The dynamic duo also made pit stops for media interviews and to answer questions from fans. Bullseye was eager to check out a NASCAR race after having such a great time at the Indy 500 with Team Target last year.
Dubbed the “Super Bowl of Stock Car Racing” and the most prestigious race on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule, the Daytona 500 is as much about those heart-pounding 500 miles as it is about the fun and festivities surrounding them. The best part of Bullseye’s weekend other than hanging out with Juan Pablo Montoya? Seeing firsthand just how passionate NASCAR fans are about their favorite sport, of course.
The West Palm Beach Motorsports Examiner looks forward to a great season of racing, and wishes Juan Pablo Montoya and the #42 team all the best.
