The two-hour conclusion of the two-night season premiere of "The Bachelor" aired Monday night. Juan Pablo danced his way into the hearts of the 27 bachelorettes, except for Sharleen, the opera singer that received the first impression rose. But, of course the TV show began with shirtless shots between Juan Pablo and former “Bachelor” Sean Lowe, and the gratuitous soapy shower scene to keep viewers enticed.

Sean Lowe offered his support to Juan Pablo prior to the initial meeting at the mansion on “The Bachelor”. Lowe advised Juan Pablo to not narrow down the dating pool right away and to be open to all possibilities.

Catherine wasn’t even on my radar until three or four weeks in.

Juan Pablo, who according to “The Bachelor” host, Chris Harrison, “generated more excitement from fans than anyone in the entire history of our show,” wants to be the “Bachelor” best known for his dancing moves. And he impressed when the gathering at the mansion turned into a dance party complete with photo booth.

The response to be cast, as a bachelorette with Juan Pablo, was so overwhelming that the number of women had to be altered from 25-27, a fact that disturbed the Latino “Bachelor” because he doesn’t like “hurting people.”

“The Bachelor” said he had is “terrible with names,” yet he still managed to choose 18 lucky ladies. Juan Pablo sent home Alexis, Amy J. (after an awkward massage), Ashley, Christine, Kylie (who thought she was selected for a rose), Lacy, a tearful and dejected Lauren H., Maggie, and Valerie. Maybe he remembered the chosen ones after the not so subtle glances at their derrieres.

Juan Pablo was clearly taken with the elegant look of 29-year-old Sharleen, an opera singer from Canada. However, she was not sure she had “instant chemistry” with “The Bachelor”. Viewers will see if Juan Pablo can ignite her heart next Monday when "The Bachelor" returns to ABC.

What are your thoughts? Do you think Sharleen is a good match for Juan Pablo, or is it too early to tell?
