"The Bachelor 18” Juan Pablo Galavis is looking for love, and the new season kicks off on ABC Monday night. Galavis stopped by “Live With Kelly & Michael” on Jan. 6 to talk about the new season, and it was a fun appearance.

Galavis was asked why he needed to go on “The Bachelor” to find his Ms. Right. He says that while he can meet ladies in his ordinary life, he hasn't found his soulmate. He said he figured at this point, doing the show was an opportunity he couldn't resist.

Juan Pablo does have a young daughter named Camila. He says she jokes about him being “The Bachelor,” but she isn't going to be watching the show and she doesn't know much about what's going on. Galavis is making it clear he'll be shielding her from the chaos that surrounds the show as much as he can.

This season of ABC's “The Bachelor 2014” will have 27 bachelorettes, a couple more than the norm. Galavis says that the one thing he worried about was hurting people, so more ladies meant sending more home. Juan Pablo didn't dish any details on whether he found love, but fans are hoping with 27 ladies around at least a few piqued his interest.

Tune in to ABC's “The Bachelor 2014” Monday nights beginning Jan. 6 to see Juan Pablo Galavis look for love. It looks like it's going to be quite the entertaining season!
