Juan Pablo Galavis, Nikki Ferrell therapy: 'Bachelor' duo on 'Couples Therapy'

Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell are going to therapy -- the reality television way. The couple, who met on last season of "The Bachelor," have signed on to partake in the new season of "Couples Therapy." On May 29, E! Online reported that Juan Pablo and Nikki have been filming for two days already and their sessions with Dr. Jenn Berman will air when the popular VH1 show returns in September.

Evidently things aren't all rainbows and butterflies in the lives of the newest "Bachelor" duo -- or maybe the two are just trying to capitalize on fame and make some money while they can.

News that Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell are in therapy isn't surprising to anyone who watched the last season of the show. Juan Pablo and Nikki definitely had something special but their relationship was hard to understand. No one could figure out why Nikki would want to be with someone like Juan Pablo -- who was titled the "worst 'Bachelor' in history" by plenty of viewers. How could Nikki be with someone who didn't seem to respect her and certainly didn't love her enough to tell her?

It was a very strange season and it sounds like Juan Pablo and Nikki are still working hard to figure it out. Naturally falling in "love" on television isn't "normal" -- but if the pair can make it work (even if they do so by appearing on television again), good for them. Juan Pablo hasn't made mention of the new gig on his Twitter account but that could be because he is under contract with ABC until August.

According to the report, Juan Pablo and Nikki are in great company. Jenna Jameson and John Wood, Big Brother's Dick "Evil Dick" Donato and Stephanie Rogness-Fischer, Naughty by Nature's Anthony "Treach" Criss and Cicely Evans, and Jersey Shore's Deena Cortese and her beau Chris Buckner are also on the show.

Are you surprised that Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell are in therapy? Will you be tuning in to the new season of "Couples Therapy" when it airs on Sept. 10?
