Joyce Giraud fights back against Brandi Glanville's eating disorder claim

Joyce Giraud's tagline for "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" is "in Beverly Hills, they say you can never be too young, too thin, or too rich" but that doesn't mean that she resorts to an eating disorder to stay super thin. As reported by All About The Real Housewives on Friday, Jan. 17, Joyce responded to co-star Brandi Glanville's accusation that she has an eating disorder.

"In the entirety of my life, I have never had an eating disorder. It’s disrespectful of Brandi to accuse me of such an ugly disease. Anorexia and bulimia are serious problems, and for her to just throw that around so easily is hurtful, not only to me but also to those who watch the show," Joyce said.

Joyce says that she's far from anorexic or bulimic. In fact, she claims that she eats chocolates all day but stays skinny thanks to her great metabolism.

She also added that Brandi, given how skinny she is herself, shouldn't be talking about another person's weight.

Joyce has blamed "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" producers for her tagline, claiming that she specifically told them not to pick that one. Joyce, however, repeated the line in a recent episode, something which has clearly bothered Brandi.

"Joyce saying you never be too thin really bothered me, because in fact you can. Young women have enough problems with eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia, and then to have an ex-beauty queen perpetuate that one can never be to[o] thin is just wrong. I think that Joyce may have a problem," Brandi wrote in a Bravo blog entry in December.

Do you honestly think Joyce Giraud eats chocolates all day? Should Brandi Glanville have kept silent?
