Joy Behar rolls over for Rachel Uchitel with 'The View' apology (video)
The View co-host Joy Behar read Friday's press release to Tiger Woods Mistress Rachel Uchitel from ABC out loud on Monday morning's Hot Topics segment of The View. Joy Behar looked as if someone was holding her career hostage with a gun to its head off stage while she read the statement apologizing for joking that Rachel Uchitel was a "hooker" during last Thursday's The View broadcast.
The View tried to dodge public humiliation for Joy Behar by releasing a statement on Friday saying that Joy Behar's statement:
"was intended as a joke. We sincerely apologize for the choice of words and for any misimpression the joke may have created."
Friday afternoon, though, a response from Rachel Uchitel's lawyer Gloria Allred said that if The View really meant it, they would say it live on air.

ABC has been embroiled in various controversies over the last few weeks, including Adam Lambert's controversial performance at the AMAs and ABC's subsequent cancelling of his scheduled Good Morning America performance and insistence that his The View appearance be pre-taped. Joy Behar's Rachel Uchitel slam apparently didn't amuse the executives at ABC either.

I love it when they fun of her on SML, also, she did look like a hooker. Whats the problem?
I loved how annoyed Joy looked during the apology. She didn't want to do it and shouldn't have had to.
