Is Joy Behar moving to CNN? Rumors are swirling that Behar could be the next big thing happening on the horizon for the network. According to a Feb. 23 New York Post (Page Six) report, Behar could be the next big name at CNN.
The double duty comedienne and “The View” host was spotted meeting with CNN boss Jeff Zucker. It’s no secret that a meeting between these two will spark major rumors, in light of all the recent musical chairs shuffling that’s been going on with the top five networks.
There is speculation that the Current TV host and former CNN-HLN host is part of Zucker’s plans to infuse some fresh life into the network. This could be more than just speculation, however.
The Huffington Post reports that Behar’s Current TV job is nearing its end now that the station has been purchased by Al Jazeera.
According to Huffington Post, CNN may have the perfect landing spot for Behar; either Erin Burnett’s 7 p.m. slot or a possible late night comedy show.
After two years on HLN, it will be like coming home.
