Michaele Salahi and Journey guitarist Neil Schon were married on Saturday in front of about 300 non-paying guests and an undisclosed amount of paying guests. The couple offered their wedding up as a pay-per-view event, according to Xfinity Comcast.net on Dec. 16.
Some of the more notable guests that attended the former “Real Housewives of D.C.” and the rocker’s wedding were Sammy Hagar, the band members from the Grateful Dead, the band members from Journey, Omarosa Manigault, the former "Celebrity Apprentice" vixen and R&B singer Brian McKnight.
Salahi first burst on the scene as a party crasher when she and her then husband went to a White House party uninvited. The couple stayed the entire time without anyone knowing they weren’t invited guests. She went on to “Real Housewives” and then to marry her “sou mate,” Schon.
The couple was interviewed sometime before their wedding and they talked about how they had loved each other for a very long time, even though they went their separate ways. Salahi said:
"We've been best friends. And when you meet your soul mate, and he's been mine since the '90s when I first met him, you can't fight that feeling. You just have to go with it. And I've been in love with him for a very long time."
The wedding was held under a big white tent and Journey performed for the quests. There’s no mention of how their pay-per-view sales went for this wedding. You have to admit that every time this couple is seen publicly or in pictures, they look so happy together. They actually shine from the electricity they seem to generate when together. Maybe there is something to this soul-mate thing after all!
