The Augusta Savage Cultural Center got a much needed facelift Monday for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
About 100 hundred volunteers and local officials planted trees, shrubs and flowers and painted the north wall of the complex.
The City of Green Cove Springs planned the project as part of MLK Day-N-Clay, Clay county’s first county-wide observance of the MLK holiday.
