Joss Stone murder plot: One of the UK's richest musicians is saved

A Joss Stone murder plot has ended, and the guilty parties have been punished. Two men were convicted of hatching a plan to murder singer Joss Stone, 25, reported The Telegraph, on April 3. Junior Bradshaw, 32, and Kevin Liverpool, 35, who apparently held immense hatred for the singer, were found guilty of conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to rob. Liverpool was jailed for life with a minimum term of 10 years and eight months. Sentencing of Bradshaw is upcoming. Reportedly, the pair headed to Stone's home with "a samurai sword, knives, bags and gloves" in their car. A note was found penned by Liverpool with references to beheading the singer and dumping her into a river.

Stone is a British soul singer famous for such songs as "You Had Me." The singer and actress won a Grammy award and BRIT awards. In 2012, The Sunday Times Rich List listed her as the fifth richest UK musician under 30.

"I am relieved the trial is now over and that these men are no longer in a position to cause harm to anyone," said Stone in a statement. Did you know about the Joss Stone murder plot?
