Up and coming ARCA driver Josh White recently announced a partnership with Semper Fidelis Health and Wellness. The charity, which helps to rehabilitate wounded Marines and get them back into the fight, will be getting a large donation from White if and when he is able to garner enough sponsorship to make the field for the Lucas Oil 200 at the Daytona International Speedway in February.
"If I get the sponsors I need for Daytona, then I am donating 100% of my share of the prize money to them," stated White. "Also, my current sponsor Spur Chaser TV is willing to give a donation, and I might donate more as the year progresses in the ARCA Racing Series."
According to the charity's website, SFHW is a mission-focused organization focusing on Training & Education. Their Founders are highly skilled Holistic Practitioners working together to deliver advanced Assymetric Health & Wellness end-to-end Solutions, tailored to meet the most sensitive needs of Wounded, Ill and Injured Veterans that they serve.
The SFHW logo plays an important part in the cultural identity of the organization. The lotus flower grows from the mud at the bottom of ponds and rises to the water's surface. At night, the flower closes and sinks underwater, at dawn it rises and opens again, and because of this, it is a symbol of the sun, of creation and rebirth. It is the only flower to fruit and flower simultaneously. Its extract is still used as a remedy against illness. The flower’s essence is also used to accelerate spiritual evolution and enhance healing on every level within the system. The logo will also be featured on the "White Lightning" machine for Daytona.
"I am not sure where, but if we make Daytona, they will be on the car somewhere," White continued. "I am also going to be promoting them on my website.”
Josh White plans on competing in several races in 2014, but he needs all the financial help he can get.
