Tuesday, Josh Powell begged a Washington State court to keep his children after the Assistant Attorney General stated that Josh is a subject of the same investigation as his father. Susan Powell’s parents were granted temporary custody of her two children. Susan Powell is the missing Utah mom who disappeared almost two years ago in Salt Lake City; Josh Powell, Susan’s husband is the only person named a person of interest in her disappearance.
Tuesday, Susan Powell’s parents Chuck and Judy Cox were granted temporary custody of her two children, and another hearing is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
Last week, Josh Powell’s father was arrested on voyeurism and child pornography charges, after police searched their house looking for evidence on Josh Powell in relation to Susan Powell’s disappearance. For more information on this story, click here.
Josh Powell has had custody of their two children and moved to Washington State shortly after Susan’s disappearance to live with his father, Steven Powell.

Powell, 28, has been missing since December 7, 2009. Josh Powell is the only person who has been named a person of interest in the case. The police have stated that the case is highly suspicious. Josh Powell moved from their Salt Lake City, Utah home to Washington State about a month after his wife disappeared with their children, and he has not actively participated in the search for Susan.
