It's the moment that Josh Levi's fans have been waiting for - the moment he drops his debut single. As reported by OK! magazine on Friday, Feb. 14, the 15-year-old finalist from season three of "The X Factor" has revealed his first single, titled 'Trying to Find You.'
Fans can listen to his new song on the site. Josh said the song is "kind of about that fairy tale moment where you fall in love with someone and they mystically disappear in the night."
He also revealed the cover art for the single. It features him in looking serious and suave in a gray blazer, white top, and gray jeans. His name is in big block letters, with part of it running across his chest, and his single title in smaller print on the bottom.
The song is a slow love ballad sung to a piano melody but with electronic beats on top to liven it up.
Since Josh chose Valentine's Day to reveal his love ballad, what does Valentine's Day mean to him?
“To me, love is so much more than having a girlfriend or boyfriend…. it’s about making your heart a mirror, and making someone smile, and giving someone warmth. In the end, if you show love to other people, it will be returned one day with a special person made for you," he said.
Unfortunately, even if Josh hits it big with this single, he won't get the opportunity to perform it on the next season of "The X Factor." It was announced a week ago that Fox has decided to cancel the show because of a steep drop in ratings.
