Josh Hutcherson says 'The Hunger Games' movie will be in 3D?! Lionsgate says no

In a new interview with IGN, The Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson appears to say the movie will be shown in 3D.

"I just saw it for the first time yesterday and it's great, so much fun. The 3D really draws you into the story and takes you along for a great ride," Hutcherson tells IGN. 

However, Lionsgate says that Hutcherson is actually referring to his other recent movie Journey 2, even though the IGN article frames it to appear as if he is talking about The Hunger Games.

So far, Lionsgate has NO plans to release Hunger Games in 3D, though they did announce earlier that the movie would be released for a one week limited engagement in IMAX.
