Fergie and hubby Josh Duhamel, an alumnus of the soap opera “All My Children,” recently announced that they are expecting their first baby. Us Weekly published a photo on Feb. 23 of the “My Humps” singer, 37, out and about in Milan Italy this weekend. Even though Fergie is dressed in multiple layers, including a white blouse, gray vest and leather jacket, her “Lovely Baby Bump” was noticeable.
Josh and Fergie, who were married in 2009, attended the premiere of Duhamel’s new movie “Safe Haven,” which is based on a Nicholas Sparks book, on Feb. 5. The couple did not make the baby announcement until Feb. 18.
“Thank you for the outpouring of well wishes!” Duhamel tweeted on Feb. 19. We are grateful and blessed. #MyLovelyBabyBump.”
Duhamel, who portrayed Dr. David Hayward’s brother Leonardo “Leo” du Pres on “All My Children” from 2002 until 2009 and then returned in 2011 for the show’s television finale, told omg! Yahoo that he has always had an “affinity for kids.” The 40-year-old actor played a dad in his new movie “Safe Haven” and the 2010 movie “Life as We Know It.”
Duhamel added, “Seeing that ultrasound is unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Unless you’ve had one [a child] yourself. You’re like, ‘Wow, it’s mine.’”
