Actor Josh Brolin got arrested on New Year's Day. News about this came out on Jan. 5. NBC News reported that the actor from "Gangster Squad" was picked up for public intoxication.
He was walking around Santa Monica and was so drunk that he couldn't even take care of himself. It sounds like Josh Brolin was by himself when this happened to him. He was held in jail on a misdemeanor for public intoxication. Once Josh sobered up he was allowed to go home. No further action is going to happen because of the arrest.
He was in the jail for about four hours before he was sober enough to go home. Josh Brolin did have to pay a $250 fine, but that is all that happened to him. He got off pretty easy for this charge. It is smart that he wasn't driving after drinking.
