Josh Brolin and Diane Lane have announced they are splitting after more than eight years of marriage. According to Us Weekly on Feb. 21, representatives for the couple confirmed the split.
The “Gangster Squad” actor and the “Cinema Verite” actress have been separated for a few months but are just now making it public. Brolin and Lane had no children together. The couple married in August 2004.
The representative for the couple says the decision to end the marriage was a mutual one. Brolin and Lane have a very amicable separation.
This will be the second divorce for both stars. Diane Lane was previously married to actor Christopher Lambert from 1988 to 1994. Josh Brolin was previously married to actress Alice Adair. Together, Brolin and Adair had two children, Trevor is 24 years old and Eden is 18 years old. Brolin is the son of actor James Brolin and his stepmom is Barbara Streisand. It’s always sad to see a marriage end, but at least they are both in agreement to go their separate ways.
