You have seen him around town dazzling people with card tricks and illusions. He appears at charity galas, company events, and celebrity parties. Josh Beckerman is known as the Cardman and he is the best party entertainer around.

Beckerman got his start in magic as a four year old kid when he told his dad “I want to be an actor and a magician.” (http://www.heartworks.com/youngjosh.html) A few years later, Beckerman had to miss soccer camp after breaking his finger. His father bought him a few trick card decks, but Beckerman didn’t like them since the decks were stacked. He wanted to be a legitimate magician and wanted to use real decks. Over the next few years, Beckerman perfected his craft, and when he learned a sleight of hand trick in high school from a friend in his AP Spanish class, Beckerman knew he could perfect his craft.
Beckerman attended Bucknell and entertained his friends at fraternity parties with his incredible sleight of hand card tricks. He would also knock on people’s doors, introduce himself, and amaze his dorm mates with feats of magic. Beckerman graduated with a business degree, but he knew that his future would be in entertainment.
After college, Beckerman worked a day job in the financial industry, but entertained at parties every night in New York City. He quickly realized that his passion and love for magic would lead to future success, and he left Wall Street to be a full-time entertainer.
Beckerman is now a staple on the celebrity party circuit and red carpet. His affable personality and unparalleled skill make him a welcome addition to any party. He recently performed in the lounges in Bryant Park during Fashion Week and entertained at Bergdorf Goodman for Fashion’s Night Out. He also has entertained at weddings, bar mitzvahs, birthday parties and charity events.
