Josephus III is a poet, artist, and a dreamer, according to his personal website. He "believes in using his gifts and talents to communicate, motivate, and inspire others. Every day he searches for new ways to use his gifts and abilities to pursue the hopes, dreams, ambitions and purpose in life" (josephusiii.com).
On Friday, April 22, Josephus III will be fusing poetry with expert staging and lighting in a one man show. You will see poet and actor on stage tomorrow night. He has created a four-part series consisting of three intimate shows in the UpStage Cabaret before the Grand Finale on The MainStage, which will be unveiled on May 14. "See first-hand the journey of the writer, the educator, the community leader and the poet as the poetry and art grow and evolve with each show," says the Triad Stage. This show on Friday is the last show before the Grand Finale.
Josephus III is a spoken word artist who has blended poetry with "soulful sounds and vivacious vocals set in tune to your life's tempo." He has often been accompanied onstage by dancers, singers, and musicians. his new album, "Poetry is Life," is a "concept album" that he has created to appeal to young and old alike. It is scheduled to be released this spring.
