Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat opens at B&B

at Beef and Boards Theatre

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim RIce's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat opens today at Beef & Boards Theatre in Indianapolis.

Based on the coat of many colors story from the book of Genesis, this musical tells the story of Joseph, who is kidnapped and sold into slavery by his brothers, who are jealous he has received a coat of many colors from their father.

Joseph is performed by Rick Desloge and the narrator is played by Amanda Lawson.

Featuring the songs, "One More Angel in Heaven," "Close Every Door," "Jacob and Sons," and "Any Dream Will Do," the Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat production in its current form was first performed in 1974 in London's West End and has been performed all over the world, including a popular tour of the U.S. starring Donny Osmond in 1992. Osmond also starred in the video version in 1998.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat runs from Oct 8 thru Nov 22.
