Fashion brand Joseph Abboud held a fashion presentation showcasing its new Joseph Abboud Fall 2013 Red Label line of luxury menswears, during New York Fashion Week Fall 2013. The event took place on Wednesday February 6, 2013 at their showroom located at 650 Fifth Avenue, in New York City. The presentation consisted of 23 mannequins dressed in garments from the upcoming collection, as well as pieces displayed on a long wall and on stands. The Joseph Abboud Red Label is new manufacturing collaboration with the American company and the Italian luxury company Cipriani SPA.
The overall collection was quite strong, consistent, stylish, and impressive. Bernanrdo Rojo, the Creative Director presented a collection with a lot of range, quality and choice. A hip, eye-catching outfit was a slightly dark green suit with dark green outer jacket. A cool black woven sweater, paired with dark blue pants, that appear to be leather, fits in perfectly with night time fun. On the other end of the spectrum was a white parka jacket, white pants, and light cream turtleneck. This outfit was bright and looked like it keeps a man nice and warm during the winter chills.
There were another twenty or so more coats hung along a wall in the showroom, plus one pair of paints and a burgundy sweater. Burgundy is a common color in the collection and is put to lovely use. The Joseph Abboud Red Label for men will makes its exclusive worldwide debut in London's Harrods flagship store for Spring 2013. Mr. Rojo states made a decision of using "higher quality fabrics and finishes…designed for an international, sophisticated man." Sportswear, tailored clothing and accessories with price points for woven range between $225 to $595; and unique outerwear from $1,500 to $5,000.
