He did not practice due to a lower body injury. However, it is not clear what type of injury it is.
He is expected to return to the ice on Monday. During the lockout, he played for the Albany Devils, where he had eight goals and 20 points in 30 American Hockey League games.
He has been with the Devils since the 2010 season. He has played in a combined 69 games with 5 goals and 14 assits in his career. He has 19 overall points with the team.
