2013/2014 Winter season- Week 7-January 13th-January 19th

Male

Jordn Smith- Central- basketball- Recorded 21 points, 15 rebounds, two steals, one assist, and one block in 44-41 win over Orono.

Recorded 16 points, 11 rebounds, six blocks, five assists, and three steals in 49-36 victory over PCHS.

Scored 21 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and blocked four shots in 58-52 loss to Dexter.

Smith's performance this past week helped the Red Devils jump from 14th to 9th in the MPA class C heal point standings.

The junior is the third student/athlete from Central high school to earn athlete of the week.

He joins Max McHugh and Andrew Speed as Red Devils to earn the honor.

Max McHugh earned the honor five times. Speed captured AOW on September 15, 2013.

Runner up

Chris Hudson- Hodgdon- basketball- Scored 40 points including his 1000 career point in 71-48 victory over East Grand. Scored 13 points in 51-33 loss to Houlton.

Other nominations

Kyle Ham- Central- basketball- Scored 17 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in 44-41 win over Orono. Recorded 14 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and two steals in 49-36 win over PCHS. Scored 16 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in 58-52 loss to Dexter.

Trevor Lovely of Winslow - basketball- Scored 22 points in 74-69 loss to Oceanside.

This is his record this year for points, and an average of 25 points for the year. He is also #2 for 3-Point goals and #1 for steals in class B.

Winslow is currently 8-2 and # 3 in the MPA Class B heal point standings.

Earlier in the season, he scored 37 points in a victory over Erskine. He is consistently one of the higher scoring players on the team.

Kyle Bouchard- Houlton- basketball- Recorded 23 points, 10 assists, and nine rebounds in 78-42 victory over Stearns. Scored 16 points in 51-33 win over Hodgdon.

Trevor Fogarty- Dexter- basketball- Recorded 19 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and one block in 58-52 victory over Central.
