“American Idol” alum Jordin Sparks is not only known for her great singing voice, but she also takes the time to give back to others in need. She attended the Giving Back Fund’s 2013 Big Game Big Give Super Bowl Celebration in New Orleans, La. This special event happened on Saturday night according to Just Jared on Feb. 3.
The “Battlefield” singer performed some tunes wearing a short black, tight fitting dress by Bailey. This number certainly showed off her awesome figure as it featured lacy long sleeves and a light sheer top. She also had on black strappy heels and wore her curly hair pulled back in a cute style.
The 23-year-old singer rubbed elbows with NFL player Victor Cruz at the event and also Transformer director Michael Bay and actor Anthony Mackie. Jordin has football in her blood as her dad, Phillippi Sparks, played for the New York Giants back in the 1990’s. Her brother PJ Sparks also plays football for the University of North Dakota.
It’s no wonder that Jordin Sparks loves football. She was thrilled to perform the national anthem at the Super Bowl in 2008 and told Billboard that it was a huge moment for her. She even admitted that she grew up obsessing over the sport. That’s what you call a super fan!
