Michael Jordan’s paternity case has been dismissed. The NBA great has had the case against him dismissed, without reason, TMZ reported on Mar. 18.
According to the report the Michael Jordan paternity case was dismissed by Pamela Smith, the woman claiming the former Chicago Bull fathered her child, but Jordan may not be out of the woods yet.
Smith filed the legal documents to dismiss the paternity case in Georgia, and the request was granted without prejudice, which means that Pamela can re-file thecase at a later date if she so choses.
There is some confusion about why Pamela Smith dropped the Jordan paternity case, considering that she recently asked the court for a DNA sample as quickly as possible.
It’s likely, but not confirmed that Michael Jordan and Pamela Sith reached some sort of settlement outside of court, but the terms of such an agreement are not likely to be made public.
