Jordan Nicole Gaza rocks cute Hello Kitty shorts during MMA training

Jordan Nicole "The Ninja Princess" Gaza said on March 13 in an exclusive interview with Long Island MMA Examiner Eric Holden that she picked up an awesome pair of Hello Kitty fight shorts to help her train for her upcoming bout against Amber Stautzenberger.

Gaza, a Crusade Combat/MMA sponsored athlete, is currently in the middle of her fight camp, and she's set to duke it out with Stautzenberger on Apr. 20 in Fargo, North Dakota, as part of Dakota Fighting Championships 15.

At this time, she's the only known MMA star to sport Hello Kitty shorts during training.

"I'm confident standing, on the ground, against the cage, on top, on bottom, upside down, whatever! I'm just ready for a battle that ends with my hand being raised," Gaza said.

Both Gaza and Stautzenberger are strawweight prospects that rebounded from recent losses to Paige VanZant, by turning in dazzling submission victories in their most recent fights.

Gaza defeated the Invicta FC prospect Kathina “Kill Switch” Catron, while Stautzenberger rocked Summer Artherton in early-2012.

Gaza looked sharp in her recent bout with Catron, as she postured up towards the end of the first round and wailed away on her opponent's face as the opening frame came to a close.

Catron signed with Invicta FC following the loss, so it seems like a lock that Gaza isn't far off from joining the top all-female MMA promotion in the world.

Stautzenberger needed just 67 seconds to submit Artherton. Much like Gaza, she's inching closer to a shot at Invicta FC glory.

Whoever wins at Dakota FC 15 may receive the opportunity to fight for Invicta perhaps as early as July at the Invicta FC 6 event.
