Wednesday, a US grand jury indicted Joran van der Sloot on charges of wire fraud and extortion in connection with selling information for $250,000 with regard to where Natalee Holloway's remains are. An arrest warrant for van der Sloot was issued in early June, but van der Sloot is currently being held in a Peru jail.

It is alleged that van der Sloot exploited "Beth Holloway's fear that she would never find her daughter's body or know what happened to her unless she paid him $250,000," according to the Alabama U.S. Attorney's office.

Van der Sloot promised Natalee Holloway’s mother, Beth that he would tell her where Natalee’s body was located if she gave him $250,000. Beth Holloway wired $15,000 to van der Sloot, and gave him another $10,000 through an attorney. Van der Sloot promised that once he had the initial $25,000 he would give the location of the body. He gave a location to Beth’s attorney, but it was false information.

The indictment seeks van der Sloot to return the $25,000 and another $100 that Beth used to confirm van der Sloot’s bank account.

"I want to applaud the FBI's work on this case," U.S. Attorney Joyce White Vance said. "Because of the agents' dedicated efforts, we are able to bring charges against someone who sought profit in a mother's grief."

Last week Joran van der Sloot's lawyer told the judge that his rights were violated during his confession and after his arrest for the murder of Stefany Flores Ramirez. The judge ruled that van de Sloot’s rights were not violated and that his confession stands. For more on that story, click here.

Last week the psychological report for Joran van der Sloot was submitted to the court; it stated that he has is frustrated easily and "doesn't value the female role." The report also states that van der Sloot "does not tolerate when someone tries to contradict him. It generates in him a challenging attitude." He is also called "emotionally immature," and that he has strong changes in his behavior that make him lose control. For more on this story, click here.

I don't believe for one minute that Joran committed the Peruvian murder. He was framed, "for all the right reasons." There are a THOUSAND reasons I can give that the girl is still alive. Now, on the other hand, I do believe its possible he may have tried to extort money from Natalie's mom. That's the real crime.

The reason Joran's mom won't visit him in Peru is because she is ANGRY AS HELL AT HIM. She advised him not to go Peru, but instead to get help for his addiction, grief from the loss of his father and other ignominies she suspected he was involved. And what did Joran do? He went to Peru.

Let's suppose Joran was totally innocent in the Holloway case. Why would he try to extort money from the Natalie's mom? He was angry at Natalie's mom because he blames her for making him persona non grata, in Aruba and around most of the world.

Prediction: Juran will serve a little time in Peru before being transferred to the U.S. for prosecution--but only at an opportuned

They need to find a reason to put Mr. Reason in the cell next to Urine ! He's just as stupid as the monster ! Urine will rot in jail in Peru until his judgement day comes with his cellmates and the rats who whine and dine with him every night ! Mr. Reason's reasoning is the equivalent of the job that Aruba did with their investigating ! Urine poor !
