There’s a new gunslinger in town, and his name is Jerome Stegall. Mr. Stegall is the president of CORE Consulting LLC, based in Jonesboro, AR. I recently had the pleasure of sitting down with Mr. Stegall to talk about his company and what services they offer.
CORE stands for Community OutReach and Education. Mr. Stegall earned his MS in Analytical Chemistry, and offers his company’s services to many clients, from start-ups to old-timers. He has over 10 years of experience in conducting research, analysis, and experimentation. CORE Consulting focuses on offering their clients ”…personal and specialized services to meet each client’s specific needs.”
CORE Consulting specializes in “providing scientific solutions by using a multi-disciplinary approach to develop innovative solutions to address the scientific, technical, and regulatory challenges…” that confront his clients. The company provides services to the space/defense, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, non-profit, and chemical industries. While employing other contractors as needed, CORE Consulting develops Standard Operating Procedures, business development plans, research and development plans and guidance, and a host of other services, including what Mr. Stegall referred to as “I’m a fixer. A project mechanic, so to speak. If there is a problem, and most companies have them whether they admit it or not, let’s find that problem, and fix it.”
In the spirit of community outreach, Mr. Stegall’s company helped implement the STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) with Familie Tiez, a Jonesboro-based after school program for at-risk youth. By helping implement STEM, CORE Consulting is opening the eyes of young people to opportunities they may have never known to exist. This focus on community is part of the machinery that drives Mr Stegall’s company, and that can provide some powerful horsepower.
