Jones may have gotten 'burned' by Imam of ground zero mosque

His terms for not burning the Quran were that the ground zero mosque either not be built or moved to another location. And Reverend Terry Jones’ terms are actually in line with what the polls show the majority of Americans would like to see in regard to that mosque. On Thursday, Fox News radio reported in the 5:00 hour that Jones was backing down regarding burning the Qurans because the Imam of the mosque near ground zero mosque had agreed to meet with him regarding his terms. And then only an hour or so later, it hit the media that the Imam was saying that he had said no such thing. So on Friday morning, Jones proclaimed that the Quran burning is suspended, not canceled.

The Quran directs Muslims to lie to “infidels”, or non-Muslims, especially those who are considered blatant enemies of Islam, as Jones would be because of his move to burn the Qurans. So it is very likely that the Imam truly did agree to this discussion behind closed doors and Jones is not making this up – especially since the ground zero mosque has some of its backing from extremist Muslims. The Quran also encourages Muslims to attempt to dominate the world with their entire culture, first through discussion, and if that doesn’t bring about the desired result, through force. Not all Muslims take this literally, but the extremists do.

While mainstream media seems to consistently declare that Jones is his own brand of radical, there are some things that Jones does seem to understand about extremist Muslims, and that is their desire to war (or have jihad) if necessary, for the purpose of obtaining world domination, as well as their refusal to back down in any circumstance that involves a perceived attack on Islam.

The Imam of the mosque near ground zero has confirmed this in that he has said that to just move that mosque to another location will read as an attack on Islam to Muslim nations, and it will spark riots, or uprisings, all over the world. One can only hope that Washington is taking note of this, and encouraging our military to take appropriate action that is going to be in America’s best interest, especially since, as a www.americanthinker.com article in August put it, the “FBI estimates (that) 10% of the mosques in the United States are associated with radical Jihadist ideology. Others estimate that 80% of mosques are dominated by the extremist Wahhabi ideology promoted by Saudi Arabia. And they are allowed to practice, under American principles of freedom of religion” (emphases added). In other words, the FBI knows that there are “sleeper cells” connected to most mosques in America, which means that not only are these cells made up of Muslim extremists, but many are military trained personnel who support jihad. With just the reports that the Quran was going to be burned, there were riots, and www.reuters.com reported yet another riot over the Quran burning on Friday morning, this one in Afghanistan.

It seems that extremist Muslims really don’t need much of a reason to riot over Islam, or even declare jihad. One example of this poignant point can be pulled from an AP article posted at www.myway.com on Friday: “Cleric Rusli Hasbi told 1,000 worshippers attending Friday morning prayers in Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim country, that whether or not he burns the Quran, Jones had already ‘hurt the heart of the Muslim world. If he’d gone through with it, it would have been tantamount to war,’ the cleric said in the coastal town of Lhokseumawe. ‘A war that would have rallied Muslims all over the world.’” So it doesn’t matter what Jones does, back down or burn, they’re offended. Funny how the extremist Muslim world doesn’t seem to care that they hurt the heart of Americans on 9-11 and every other time they carry out a terrorist act against us. One has to wonder when it will be time for the appropriate personnel in America to do some confronting. Let’s hope it won’t take another 9-11…or worse.

Remember that muslims do not define non-believers as 'human'. they are no more than cattle which is why they consider it ok to lie to non-muslims. do you consider it a lie if you tell your dog an untruth? so as unbelievers, we have no heart to break, no more than a dog or cow.

and the wahhabi beliefs, which 80% of mosques follow, are the ones that motivated 9-11. so that makes 90% of US mosques terrorist sympathizerzs. a few years ago in cincinnati, law enforcement broke a local front for terrorist organizations - they were funneling money and goods to them, right here in the heartland. the american people need to know that moderate muslims consider them no better than dogs, and are fully intent on dominating this country with sharia law. sadly, the US government is helping them accomplish this goal. we really need to pray for God's discernment, wisdom, and mercy on our nation.

Ironic that this "religion of peace" has fomented such utter violence and the first match has yet to be set to a Koran.

The Qur'an gives a general admonition against lying, "Truly Allah guides not one who transgresses and lies." Surah 40:28 but the exceptions are spelled out in the Hadith, (extant teaching of Muhammed), that lying is permissable under three circumstances:

    For reconciliation among people.
    In war.
Amongst spouses, to keep peace in the family.

Keith - what you say is true regarding muslims with muslims. with non-muslims, they can do anything - rape, torture, behead, lie, cheat, steal, there is no limit because non-muslims are not considered to be people. i worked for a large corporation and learned this from the muslim who traveled with the CEO to any meeting with muslims [you would recognize the CEO's name] because they were required to be honorable with him, but not with the CEO or any other non-muslim.

Diane, I think that the kind of assumptions that you made are no better than terrorist themselves, which is literally reading into some people's believe and make a judgment that everybody believes that.

  • Diane B 1 year ago

it's not an assumption, it's in the Quran and in the hadeeths. terrorists kill people. having and expressing an opinion is not terrorism.

Is Ground Zero in New York City or in Mecca of Saudi Arabia????

How dare the Imam of the mosque to say that just moving that mosque to another location will read as an attack on Islam to Muslim nations.

It is ridiculers of Obama and his government to accept that Humiliation and let that Imam make a threatening statement like that.
Perhaps because of Obama’s support to the Mosque and also he (Obama) has always said "America is A Muslim Nation", that encouraged him to make his stupid statement to scare the American Officials whom he has fooled at the first place and gave him the plan’s approval and support.

For that Imam statement of threat Obama and his government should be true Americans and have some dignity and courage to force the movement of that Mosque to another location away from Islamic attack Ground, and if they don’t then All Americans should stand up for America's dignity and reputation and prevent building that mosque Any where in America.
We should not Chicken nor turn the other cheek to a bully who is using the American Freedom of Religion to humiliate America all the way.
Please, no one tells me Jesus said (turn the other cheek), because Muslims know about this and abusing it.
Christians of the Middle East Countries have been turning their other cheeks to Muslims for 1400 years and Muslims kept not just slapping them but much worse, they lost their Countries their freedom of religion even their human rights all gone not to mention the persecution, no churches be built and the list goes on.
So we have to stop the bully, We wouldn't want to see that is happening in America, would we?

It's a double standard - In 2007, Muslim crowds in the Middle East also took up the issue of burning holy books, but in this case, with incendiaries in hand.

Father Manuel Musallem, head of Gaza's Latin church, told the Associated Press that crowds had burned and looted a school and convent that were part of the Gaza Strip's small Roman Catholic community. He told the Jerusalem Post that Muslim gunmen used rocket-propeled grenades to blast open the church and school before burning Bibles and destroying every cross in sight.

"Christians can continue living safely in the Gaza Strip only if they accept Islamic law, including a ban on alcohol and on women roaming publicly without proper head coverings", an Islamist militant leader in Gaza told WND in an exclusive interview. His comments come after gunmen Sunday attacked Gaza's Latin Church and adjacent Rosary Sisters School, reportedly destroying crosses, bibles, pictures of Jesus and furniture and equipment. The attackers also stole a number of computers.

"They must be ready for Islamic rule if they want to live in peace in Gaza," said Sheik Abu Saqer, leader of Jihadia Salafiya, an Islamic outreach movement that recently announced the opening of a "military wing" to enforce Muslim law in Gaza.

But not muslims are terrorist and things that are horrible like that. I lived in australia for a while and met many muslim friends that come from Indonesia. And they hang out with everybody. They still stick to their religion but they didn't do that jihad thing. They even kinda hate those muslim people who likes jihad or whatever. They say Prophet Muhammad tells us to have peace with others, only God knows who is right or wrong, good or bad. So not All muslims are evil.

Burning any holy book is absolutely wrong. The majority of Muslims do not follow the fundamentalists. We are peaceful people who want nothing more than to just get along with everyone. If you and I met, you would know that I am not a fundamentalist - I despise what happened on 9-11 and hate the fact that some very stupid people have given such a peaceful religion such a bad name.
