Daniel Clarke Bouchard, a 14-year-old piano mastermind dazzled the crowd on 'Ellen' Tuesday, but quickly went from a smiling teenager eating up the attention to star-stricken and speechless when his idol made a surprise appearance.

Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick made a brief but obviously impactful visit on the hit daytime talk show, presenting his adoring fan with a Quick jersey and tickets to an upcoming Kings game.

"Next time you're in town we got tickets," Quick told Bouchard. " Just want to thank you for all your support."

Quick, 28, suffered a Grade Two groin strain in early November which sidelined the 2012 Conn Smythe Trophy winner until January . He is currently ranked fourth in the NHL with a 2.03 GAA and has 27 wins in 47 games.

The Kings, who are two-seasons removed from their first Stanley Cup Championship in franchise history, will finish out the regular season on Saturday when they host the Anaheim Ducks before embarking on their fourth-consecutive post season appearance next week.

Los Angeles is third in their Pacific Division with 96 points.
