The Jonas Brothers -Kevin, Joe and Nick, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato have gotten together to sing "Send It On", environmental tune that puts the spotlight on Disney Channel's Friends for Change: Project Green initiative.
The song debuts on Friday, August 7th on Radio Disney (AM 1800), and the video for it airs on Friday, Aug. 14th
According to The Orlando Sentinel, the song will be available on iTunes for $0.99 dollars. The proceeds will go to the environmental charities sponsored by Friends for Change, focused on climate, water, waste, and habitat.
Visitors to the project's website can pledge to make changes in their life to help the environment in the same way their favorite stars are doing. They can also vote on how to distribute $1 million dollars from Disney to different charities.
The "Send It On" video with The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Demi Lovato debuts on Friday, August 14th on Disney Channel and Saturday, Aug. 15th, on Disney.com and ABC. The special Lights, Camera, Take Action! Backstage With Disney's Friends for Change airs on Friday, Aug. 28th after Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie.
