Three Sisters/Three Brothers: Everlife Joins Jonas Brothers in Nashville

As reported in Jonas Brothers in Nashville August 25 - JoBros play Sommet Center (with Nashville video), the Jonas Brothers are coming to Nashville's Sommet Center on Tuesday, August 25th as one of the final stops of the Jonas Brothers World Tour, and the JoBros have just added Nashville-based sister rock-trio Everlife to the Nashville roster. Everlife will kick off the Jonas Brothers show with an acoustic set highlighting some of their familiar tunes plus new material from their new EP at the Love Library.

Who Is Everlife?

The Ross sisters, Amber, Julia and Sara, formed a group in 1997. While still in their teens, Everlife signed to SHELTERecords before moving on to Disney’s Buena Vista Records. The three sisters from Franklin used to share the same manager with the Jonas Brothers.

“We grew up performing for years in random places; from churches to bars to parties to festivals. We always had to gauge our audience and learn what they would respond to,” says Julia. “The Disney tours helped us perfect that, how to perform for hundreds of thousands of kids, parents and teens all at once and still be able to capture them individually.”

Everlife Parts Ways with Disney

While being on the Disney label gave Everlife the opportunity to perform for millions of fans on tours with Disney teen superstars like The Cheetah Girls and Miley Cyrus, at the end of 2007, Everlife found themselves at a crossroads. Although the girls have remained “family-friendly,” their songwriting and musical style have been maturing, making it harder to be a “children’s” band leading Everlife to part ways with the Disney label.

“After parting ways with the label, and unexpectedly having to self-manage, we were thrown into really figuring out who we were as Everlife,” says Amber. “We realized we’re always telling stories, writing about the things we know and hoping to inspire people in their lives.”

Since then Everlife has spent time writing, touring Germany with the USO, creating and promoting their own Christmas tour, organizing and headlining a 2 month tour through 8 countries in Europe and independently producing a new 4 song EP. Now Julia (20), Sarah (23) and Amber (25) Ross have matured into young women with a positive view of life and classic pop rock style songs that resonates with their peers.
