According to Star magazine, Kate Gosselin is so stressed she can't sleep. Can you blame her?

Amid much drama surrounding the TV show Jon & Kate Plus 8, Kate broke the news to fans that her estranged husband Jon Gosselin cleaned out their joint bank accounts, leaving a mere $1K for America's famous mom.

"He took $230,000 of the $231,000 we had," Kate told the Today show with Meredith Vieira on Monday.

"I have a stack of bills in my purse that I can't drop in the mail. The last thing I wanted was to do this show and end up not being able to pay our bills."

Often admitting money as the motivating factor, apparently Kate isn't the only one stressed, as the kids are missing the attention of the cameras too since the show was suspended after Jon put a halt on production.

While Jon and Kate's funds are in dispute, Kate said in the interview the money set aside in a separate account for the children was never touched.

Now with the twins' birthday on the line, Jon and Kate are having to brawl about who will be there.
Jon told Entertainment Tonight that Kate put in her request to have Jon at the party for two hours on their birthday and then head home. In the email to Jon, she wrote:
"Due to recent events, it will be too stressful to the kids to have both of us here as planned. I would like to split the evening so they can see us both," Kate wrote. Jon had a more defensive response.
"It's an all-out battle," he said, referring to the current state of their relationship. The father of the eight kids said he hasn't spoken in person with Kate in weeks and the couple's scathing battles are putting the kids in the middle.

For Kate, who says she's losing countless hours and nights of sleep over the stressful situation, continues to argue for the show which she believes is the family sole means of support. But others have expressed a much different opinion in the past.

Jodi Kreider, Kate's sister-in-law spoke out over the summer for the eight children telling CBS, "They're very lost right now."

She added, "They're very blinded by all of this media and this -- you know, the fame and the fortune. ... Unfortunately, I think it has come down to [being] all about the ratings. And no one is looking at these children as [to] what they are going through and the life consequences they are going to have as they get older."
