ESPN analyst Jon Gruden says he has no intention of leaving the comfort of calling Monday Night football games any time soon, but how truthful is the ex-Super Bowl champion coach being?
According to CBSSports.com, Gruden may be telling the public he is content on staying in the booth, but representatives have told several teams he will be willing to interview for their jobs once the season ended, even as soon as today.
“Over the past few weeks, teams have quietly contacted Gruden and/or his representatives to gauge Gruden's interest. In response, Gruden and/or his representatives informed teams Gruden would speak to them once the regular season ended.”
Hmm…you know what they say, where there’s smoke, there is usually fire.
It may just be a personal thing, but I think Gruden will be back on the sidelines when the smoke has cleared. You can hear the fire and passion in his voice when he is calling games.
If the right offer comes in, Chucky will be back.
The Bears, Eagles and a handful of other teams are interested in talking with Gruden according to several rumors flying around the internet.
How about the Detroit Lions? Just a thought, well wish actually.
Did you hear that Mr.Ford?
Do you think Jon Gruden will coach somewhere in 2013? If so where?
