Jon Gosselin former TV reality star of “Kate and Jon Plus 8” has found a new job. He is working as a waiter at the Black Dog restaurant in Beckersville, PA. This is quite a change for the former star who was used to yachting in the South of France. He wasn’t sure how people would react to him working a normal job like waiting tables. He admits that he is having fun talking to people, especially when they recognize him from "Jon and Kate Plus 8."
Jon traded in his $1.3 million dollar home for a small cabin in the woods. He no longer 'parties' like he used to in Las Vegas, nor does he join his rich friends on their yachts. While Jon was a TV reality star, he could party with the rich and famous, and he said that it wasn’t his money being spent. Now, he has bigger expenses and he has to watch his money more closely.
"I was living the high life because everyone was paying for it, and I had to earn income to pay for my legal fees. I [party] now on a different level. I don't go to Vegas and New York. I went there so I could earn income to pay my attorneys, to protect me in court," he told ET.
Jon also told ET that he has hit rock bottom at least 20 times, but he keeps bouncing back. It has been hard for Jon to enter into the workforce like most people. Almost everyone knows him from the show; they knew the history and drama that went along with his name and reputation. Jon doesn’t regret his TV reality show, and he said that he learned from his mistakes. Jon has re-discovered what it’s like living on a small income, and he seems to be enjoying himself.
