Jon Gosselin took to his Twitter shortly after Jon and Kate Gosselin appeared in court Tuesday in front of Judge Arthur R. Tilson and was ordered to return $180,000 of the $235,000 he withdrew from the bank without permission by October 26th.
Jon Gosselin sent out the following Twitter message Tuesday night after the judges ruling, “Today was a long day. Today the court divided my family, today I watched a mother and father lose their son. Today I watched my best friend's daughter lose her father. Today I lost a great friend!!! RIP JF. Let's remember to live everyday like it was our last.”
No word from Jon as to who “JF” is or what prompted Jon Gosselin to send out this public message, however numerous people have commented on Gosselin’s Twitter message.
As to what Jon Gosselin was implying by stating, “Today the court divided my family,” there were no reports of anything to do with the children or matters regarding the divorce; reportedly the court hearing was about money Jon had taken from one of the Gosselin’s bank accounts.
Reportedly Kate Gosselin was also ordered to produce records accounting for money Jon Gosselin claims Kate used for household expenses and money Kate had made from her book sales. Those records are to be brought to the couple’s next hearing on October 26th. The judge also ordered Jon and Kate Gosselin to use private arbitration to resolve their remaining matters.
Shortly after the ruling Kate Gosselin stated to reporters, “As difficult as this has been for me, I am pleased that the court has ruled fairly on behalf of myself and my children," …"Now that this matter has been ruled on, I look forward to returning to private arbitration, as we have agreed to do, to resolve any remaining issues."
Jon Gosselin’s lawyer, Mark Heller stated, "All of the attorneys on both sides worked very hard. We are very pleased with the outcome of the court proceeding and the arbitration session.”

I'm glad the arbitrator looked at the accounting records fairly and made the call on who was the bigger crook.
The judge needs to impose a gag order on Jon AND his wife.
I agree with Spider these two need to shut up, get off TV and deal with their divorce. The only ones responsible for dividing this family is the two idiots called Mom and Dad.
Do yourselves a favor, get it over real fast. Your lawyers will suck the blood out of you like you wont believe. They will destroy everything you have. They dont care about you in the least. In the end they always win. What a shame. Its all B.S.

Jon and Kate may both be guilty of financial infidelity. Jon may be using family funds to finance his new romance. But Kate may be siphoning off money from their joint bank account in anticipation of their pending divorce. Not unusual for couples in their situation.

Then judge for yourself whether or not Jon, Kate, or both of them have committed financial infidelity. Or is this just another play for the spotlight, which both Gosselins seem to dearly love?

The crook in this matter is the individual that took away the possiblities of the Gosselin children ever having a normal childhood....money and what it does too people that were not intended to have an over abundance of it to begin with because such would be the results!
The court divided his family???? All the court said was "you cant steal from your wife and kids and get away with it". This guy doesnt seem to have a clue that it is HIS actions that have divided the family.
I don't feel sorry for Jon Gosselin, some facts that people are missing are really starting to tick me off. First of all on the show are people really stupid enough to believe what they are hearing and seeing is not edited? I believe TLC edited a lot of the show to make Jon look like a push over, I never thought Kate was out of line, he acted like be was stoned on most of the episodes. Second of all, he needed an apartment in NYC for 5K a month? What is wrong with the old house they still own that is vacant and they are still paying a mortgage on? Third What makes this idiot think that he is entitled to earnings from Kate's 2 books? This guy is a total loser, he needs to grow up and take some responsibility for his actions. He may have stopped TLC from filming but he is having the children filmed for his financial benefit, does Kate get any of that income? Jon needs to drop his dope smoking gf and get his life together!
