Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman during their interview with Mary Hart for "Entertainment Tonight" (Entertainment Tonight)
Jon Gosselin, former star of TLC's "Jon and Kate Plus Eight," stormed out during an interview with "Entertainment Tonight" Wednesday. The interview with "ET" corespondent Mary Hart and Gosselin's girlfriend Hailey Glassman started off as smooth as possible but ended in disaster.
Gosselin was noticeably upset during the interview pieces shown. He looked very unhappy with the tough questions Hart and Glassman were throwing at him, such as Glassman asking if he believes he takes his anger out on her.
"Yes. That is why I'm in therapy, and I met with the rabbi," Gosselin replied, looking ashamed and frustrated.
Things looked like they were coming down when the topic of Thanksgiving plans came up. Glassman said Gosselin will of course be coming to her family's home for the holiday, and Gosselin said he would whether they are together or not because it was in his "schedule." Glassman got on his case, but it was in a joking manner, and Gosselin was laughing along at some points.
That was pretty much the last semi-happy moment during the interview. Hart asked Gosselin if he believed being in the public eye was important for him. He said yes because of marketing for television but that he does not like the negative aspects that come with being in the public eye.
A conversation about Gosselin and Glassman's relationship increased the tension. Glassman was very up front about the fact that she loves Gosselin but does not love his life style.
"I can't go backward. I can only go forward. If she doesn't like it, then don't come along. I can't force her," Gosselin said about he and Glassman trying to stay together for a normal relationship.
While on the subject of a breakup, Hart asked Gosselin how he would feel if Glassman started dating again. He said he would be upset, and she said it will not happen because she is scarred from her relationship with Gosselin.
At this point, viewers could tell Gosselin was annoyed with where the conversation was going. The camera cut away for a second to listen to a voice over, and when they cut back Glassman was explaining how she is constantly telling Gosselin to be an honest person for his kids.
"What is she talking about?" Hart asked.
"I'm not going to talk about this," Gosselin said storming off the set.
Unfortunately for viewers, we will have to wait until tomorrow to see what happened after Gosselin left the set, but the show promises that there will be cheating accusations and more fighting. Stick around!
