Jon Gosselin is still relevant, at least for now. He will appear in upcoming episodes of "Couples Therapy" which airs on the VH1 network. This morning his oldest daughters Cara and Mady appeared with their mother and Gosselin's ex-wife Kate Gosselin on the "Today" show. In what looked like a very painful interview, the teen girls clammed up and allowed their mother to do most of the talking. According to a Jan. 16 report from TMZ, Jon Gosselin is not happy about how it went down and he will be addressing the incident as a "family matter." He seemed to be quiet upset over the publicity tour Kate Gosselin is taking the girls on.

The Gosselins have eight children together, with Cara and Mady being the oldest. The couple spilt years ago and their joint show "Jon and Kate plus 8" was changed to "Kate Plus 8." The reality show aired on the TLC network but was canceled in 2011. Nearly three years later Kate Gosselin is trying to stay in the spotlight. What Gosselin means by handling it as a family matter is anyone's guess, but fans and critics both believe he may be right about this tour being too much for the girls.

After the appearance on the "Today" show Kate Gosselin tweeted the girls had stage fright, but viewers aren't so sure. It was an uncomfortable moment for Cara and Mady, one that shouldn't have been filled with pressure from their mother.
