Jon Gosselin, ex-hubby of Kate Gosselin from TV’s reality show “Jon & Kate Plus 8” fame, lives in a cabin at the end of a dirt road in Beckersville, Pa. these days, where he tries to lay low from the paparazzi.
But on Sept. 21, one foolish photographer followed Jon home from his new waiter gig, all the way to the end of that dirt road to his house. When Jon spotted the paparazza, he whipped out a gun and fired a warning shot in the air to chase off the trespassing shutterbug, according to The Daily News.
"I am licensed to carry a concealed handgun, which I withdrew and used to fire a warning shot AWAY from the paparazza," Gosselin told TMZ.
"It is well within my rights under Pennsylvania law when someone is trespassing on private property."
The clueless paparazza admitted to following Jon home, but thought the dirt road leading back to his cabin in the woods was a public road, not private property.
The snapping photographer said that Jon approached her aggressively and yelled at her prior to pulling the gun from the back of his pants and firing that warning shot. She also said he followed her all the way out to the main road as she fled the scene.
TMZ reported that the photographer did go to the local police station to file a report, but wrote that “if she filed a complaint the police would have probably ended up charging HER with criminal trespass.”
The trespassing photog left the police station after simply informing the cops that Jon fired a gun, on his own property.
