Jon Gosselin, former star of "Jon and Kate Plus 8" no longer pays child support. Apparently, he and Kate have mutually agreed that he no longer has to support his eight kids. However, that doesn't mean that he's left her high and dry without any financial support.
Jon told ET, “But [ex-wife Kate Gosselin and I] both support them financially because she takes care of school and all that stuff, but I take care of the exact same things that she takes care of. I buy their own groceries. They have their own clothes at my house, their own bedrooms, their own stuff. It's doubled."
Jon and Kate have eight kids together. They have 12-year old twins, and nine-year-old sextuplets. They had a TV reality show that followed along and portrayed their trials and triumphs of taking care of six babies all at once.
Jon reports that he no longer sees Kate, even when he picks up the kids. According to Jon, they exchange the kids through Kate’s nanny who meets them at the gate, or at a bus stop or other designated area. He has no contact with his ex-wife. However, that is probably a good thing because Kate is suing Jon for wiretapping, identity theft, and invasion of privacy. Jon allegedly stole information off her computer hard drive, and tapped into her phone calls. He gathered the information and placed it in his book, Kate Gosselin: How She Fooled the World.
Jon quit the show, "Jon and Kate Plus 8" in 2009 when reports of infidelity surfaced and ruined his marriage. Currently, Jon works as a waiter at the Black Dog restaurant in Beckersville, Pa. and lives in a small cabin in the country.
