The aging rock star proved he still has a sense of humor (along with a pulse), responding to the rumors of his demise by posing with a tongue-in-cheek sign that read, "Heaven looks a lot like New Jersey". He also noted the date and time in his message as 6:00 am on Dec. 19, 2011.

In the new photo posted on the official Bon Jovi Facebook wall, the band's frontman is seen standing in front of a decorated Christmas tree, holding the sign and flashing a big grin at the camera. The photo reminds us of the stereotypical hostage-holding-up-a-newspaper-shot, usually taken to prove a captive person's viability to worried loved ones so they will come through with ransom or other demands.
So far, the photo that put the Bon Jovi death hoax to rest has been 'liked' over a hundred thousand times, and shared by over 60,000 Facebook users.
