Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin soon have a new show on TLC, but it may not exactly fall under the category of "original." According to a report from The Wrap, the show will be a project akin to "The Simple Life" back when it aired on Fox. A source close to the project told the website that the reality TV mom will be “trying different jobs and tasks and showing how she performs in the different environments.”

For Kate fans, the show will obviously have some appeal as they will get the opportunity to see how she can perform in a variety of different environments. On the other hand, the show may also have a problem drawing in new people. Will Kate working as a waitress draw many headlines? Certainly not in the same way that the fights leading up to her split from Jon did. She also needs to win over detractors who believe her behavior to be too brash for family television.

TLC has yet to confirm or deny the report; there are also rumors out there that Kate could be on board a dating show in the future. As it stands, though, would you be interested in watching Kate Gosselin try out a variety of new jobs? Let me know your thoughts with a comment below and stay tuned for more Gosselin news.

Absolutely not... hey victoria, want to watch me go to work? How lame is that??? Why do you care about a nobody, harsh, money hungry, greedy, whench! Kate needs to be out of the limelight! It has gone to her head, she is not a skilled actor. Reality is all this bimbo can do!

Oh PLEASE,I thought this garbage was over.

  • Chrissy 2 years ago

How about she focus more on raising her kids and less on being on TV.

  • Christina Kirkpatrick 2 years ago

I will watch her. Just curious why Chrissy thinks you can't take care of your kids, and still work?

  • Helen 2 years ago

I would watch her and I wish her the best of luck. I think she is capable of doing many different jobs.

I will probably not watch this particular show. I have nothing against Kate (she is like everyone in the business...trying to make it big and lots and lots of money) but I just think the premise of the show sounds a little dull and has been done. I wish TLC would find something new to show us.

No, I am not going to watch Kate on any new show they come up with for her. They don't know what to do with her. That's TLC problem. TLC is just throwing out ideas and seeing what people say about them.

Christina, I am not sure, but, maybe Chrissy is concerned that Kate will be out of town and not at home taking care of her kids. The Gosselin kids are struggling right now, according to Kate herself. They should be her priority right now. IMO.
