Former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin is apparently using her time away from the camera to focus on writing. The reality TV mom is set to release her third book, entitled I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith, and Family, in May of this year. Kate had this to say about the book in a statement:
"In addition to making sure my kids know how much I love them, I'm writing this book to encourage other mothers. Being a mother is the most tiring job you will ever have, and it's the most worthwhile job."
The book will feature letters from Kate to each of her eight children, and it will apparently also contain bits and pieces from her journal over the course of the past several years. From the beginnings of "Jon and Kate Plus 8" to the divorce, Kate has certainly went through enough for a book like this. However, there could be a cause for debate in how she is choosing to release "personal letters to her children" in a nationally-published book.
Kate's previous work includes Multiple Blessings: Surviving to Thriving with Twins and Sextuplets and Love Is In the Mix: Making Meals into Memories. (Talk about your long titles.) Considering how popular she was the last time she hit the road, there's no doubt that Kate will embark on a nationwide book tour yet again.

Yes! I am on Kate's Team. I miss the show, I miss the kids and I like to keep up with Kate. I feel she is strong and has been an inspiration to other woman. We all know, now one is perfect, although she has taken the high road and is doing what she can to be a good person and live on, without the idiot!
Have no interest in what this woman has to say. She definately not going to give any-reasonably thinking mother advice.
Have to agree with you on your comment that questions her in publishing private letters to her children. Anything that will make money is all this woman is about.
Her children know no privacy and as she continues to show the world, this mother knows no shame in pimping them.
These TLC blog lurkers like Houston are so obvious now, that they aren't even worth response anymore.
These personal thoughts should be personal to each child, not bound and sold. Disgraceful!
A new level for a narcissist!
I doubt they are her thoughts, anyway. More believable is someone else wrote it, as with "her" cook book.
Will the book include pictures of poop? Watching the show, I'm sure that is when she was most proud of them!
(then the detached and abrupt General Kate the Boss came in)
She could have saved time and effort if she just told the kids to look up "jon and kate ugly moments" on you tube.
THAT is mommy dearest!
Kate - the kids were the show. Let it go! It's OVER! Tend to your kids!
...maybe you can finally wean them off their bibs?
If she wants to write letters to her children, keep them private. Just another way for this person to pimp out her children (once again).
Please, get an editor or take some grammar lessons! The sentence I copied below should say "...Kate has certainly gone through enough..." NOT "...went through.."

Anyone know if Zondervan, the Christian publishing company, is the publishing house releasing this new book?
If so, will probably never buy anything they publish again. This person makes no bones about her not having time for the church unless it is to get a free handout.
Zondervan is the publishing house releasing book so go ahead and cross them off your list of people with common sense.
Also isn't the title the name of a Backstreet Boys song? Do they get any money for her using it, I wonder? Wonder if they have claim to it?
No, I won't buy it. I might check out a library copy just to see what phony things she has to say in her so-called personal letters to her children.
And "Youneedaneditor" is right: it is 'has gone' or 'went' but not 'has went' ~
Book tour, can anyone tell us who is raising the children because it is not this woman. She is home less than a bona-fide movie star.
I look forward to Kate's new book. Please remember she has to earn money to support the 8 kids because Jon is contributing absolutely nothing and hasn't even seen them in awhile. Soon he will be out of their lives completely by his own choice. Many parents are away from their children each day to earn a living. It can't be helped. I can't understand the criticizm of Kate when she tries to support her family with what she is able to do. I know she has competent nannies unlike Jon's choice of a bartender bimbo. Kate could just go on welfare like Nadya Suleman.
Erin-no one is saying this woman should not be making a living but the way she is going about it is NOT okay by the majority of parent's standards out there. She is giving up her children's privacy yet again to make money.
There are numerous single mothers out there with eight children and more who are not selling them to the public to support their needs. As far as welfare, she is going to be on that sooner than later.
Wow, another ghost-written book by Kate. I doubt that Kate is writing much of it at all -- like the other books. As for writing a public book about her feelings for her children, I say to that "HA!" Penning a few words does not atone for the extreme greed and selfishness that she has exhibited. The only way that I can see this book doing any good at all is her completely leaving the public arena, and this book being her farewell to the public life. The few words in the book do not cover up for her very selfish actions that she continues to pursue! As far as book touring -- that is another point -- she will be away from her children again for extended periods. Yes, she needs to support her children, but even if she didn't work at all, she has millions of dollars while she is looking for work. Come on!
hope her book flops. no one cares what she has to say
i am on kates team because she is the one who has to take care of the kids alone and the kids will have to live whith out a father and they won't know what is like having a father all through their lives and kate is the best for the kids.they can say they want their dad and then a couple years after that they will sii that it is better to have a mom than a dad in their life
Anyone who thinks that this book was written with sincerity is a fool!
This book is written for Kate's ego, plain and simple.
To me, it is as wrong as if she started hooking to make money.
Kate is definitely without limits.
she will do anithing for money, this woman is sucks! using again her kids for money! careful! god gives god take away! remember that! she need help!
Enough of Kate Gosselin. What does she know about faith and family. She lets others take care of her children and certainly shows no faith (she hoodwinked many churches).
I'll get it for sure. She's an inspirational woman. She held herself with grace throughout this last year while her ex was cheating. it looks as if he's sloughed off his role as father. she has to support these kids and this is a great way. maybe while she's on her book tour, the children's father could possibly be a father for a bit, or not. probably not. he doesn't seem interested in anything but himself lately.
NO, I will not read this book. Kate knows how to "put words together" to make herself sound good. If she had the faith that she professes, then why did she treat her spouce like she did, as well as other members of her family? I am afraid that she has lost all credibility through her actions, disrespect of family, having to have her own way all the time, acting like a bully.....does anyone recall how she treated the guest chef on their show....she hit him on the hand ....twice...when he told her to leave Jon alone. Too many people have said that she is not a nice person after they have met her. Guess she just needs to go away, and learn how to treat others. Don't forget, she doesn't get along with any of her family. When you cannot get along with that many people.....the problem is with YOU.....Kate!!
You are so right Lexi!
Go Kate You can't raise 8 kids by yourself with "regular job" so more power to you. I know many who will buy your book and some of these previous bloggers who can't stand you and call you worthless, will "secretly" read it, pretending they don't care. But if they don't care, why are they continuing to read articles about you???? They can go read about Jon and call him a saint to put up with you. Truly it was the other way around. Go KATE!!
Its not necessary to even answer this since Lexi answered for me. What could Khate possible say that she hasn't already said with her numerous pity parties. She can't give advice, you would have to be a fool to listen to her, since she is divorced, estranged from her parents, siblings, most friends, you name it. WHO WOULD BUY A BOOK OF HERS?!?!? I guess if you want to fail in life, buy Khate's book and follow closely. Not me thanks, I have a great husband, whom I treat right, wonderful kids that I don't hit, had a wonderful relationship with my parents and they certainly were allowed in my childrens lives.
Actually, I think I should write the book. Forget Khate...she is a phoney.
I am wondering why so many "Kate haters" come to web sites for info about her! Go away!
