Kate Gosselin shuns Playboy

First it was the report about the new Jon and Kate porn, now comes word that Kate Gosselin has turned down an offer to appear in Playboy magazine.
According to checkout line rag Star magazine:
Kate Gosselin’s eight kids already think she’s a great playmate - just not the kind Hugh Hefner has in mind! According to an insider, the reality mom turned down $400,000 to appear in Playboy. “Hugh sent her a letter, but Kate was totally mortified and threw it away! She didn’t think it was appropriate because of the children.” Still, Kate has no problem showing off her body, adds the insider. “She’s proud of the way she looks.”
Okay, okay, it's Star, so the whole thing is likely made up, but it's still a fun story to ruminate about on a lazy holiday weekend.
If it is true, do you think Kate turned it down "because of the children?" Or was it more because of her TLC morality clause, which would put an end to her gravy train? Playboy has featured celebrity photos in the past that were risque, but they were tastefully done and not nude. And Kate doesn't seem to be shy about being photographed in a skimpy bikini, why not have it done by a professional and airbrushed?
Or, given Kate's love of fame and fortune, maybe it simply wasn't enough money. What do you think would be the right price for Kate to show off her alleged boob job?

I think it's time for Kate to start whoring out her own body instead of her children's childhood. Interesting how she can say no to something "invasive" and yet her children have no voice in their lives. (can you tell I'm bitter?)
Kate take very good care of her children. With 8 children and a husband who could not keep a job, she made a wise decision to do the show. The children are filmed in everyday activities. People are bitter and green with envy that she was successful. As far a Playboy..what the heck.. nothing any worse than fishy Jon, at least Kate is concerned about her children.
If the story is most likely made up, why keep reporting?
Between her crouching, leaning and squatting,we have already seen it all!
Finally, people will realize that shes not a Money Hungry person. So back off.
I'm truly surprised she didn't accept it and explain it away AGAIN as something she did TO HELP THE KIDS FINANCIALLY. Remember, everything this gal does is FOR HER KIDS. I guess belittling, berating and embarrassing their father for years on TV was all FOR THE KIDS. This woman has become, or always was, a pathalogical liar. She is a money hungry freak that thinks she can get away with anything FOR THE KIDS!
Everyone who complains about the Gosselins doing the show and Kate writing and promoting her books,let's put the shoe on your foot,give you 8 kids to be financially responsible for and see what you would do. Noone would pick welfare and living paycheck to paycheck over doing a reality show and being able to live better. The problem isn't the show,it's their dirty laundry being aired in public. Jon is a douchbag for the way he is acting. Kate has actually been very mature in the interviews she's given. She's doing a great job raising the kids. She's never indicated she resents having had 8 children. Jon, on the other hand, is always making some snide remark about how the 6 little ones changed everything for the worst, in other words, he had to grow up and act his age. Well, he lasted close to 5 years before he resorted back to his selfish, immature, pathetic self. He abused Kate as much as she abused him. He was just quieter about it, doing the little kid faces behind her back.
Loo: I agree that, in the same circumstance having all those children, many of us would, indeed, jump at the chances the Gosselins have been given. BUT...why can't they be honest about it? Just once I'd like to hear either of them say, "We'd have never made it with all these children without the added income we get from the show and the books. And the freebies we are given, 'well, they are just icing on the cake!'" I'd have far more respect for them if they could just be honest about ANYTHING!
Playboy?!! You've got to be kidding me! This HAS to be a made up story! She is usually not the type Hugh Hefner is looking for. Me and lots of my buddies would NEVER want to see this woman in Playboy! Enough of her a long time ago!
This article in Star is a lot of bull. Kate would jump through hoops for 400K and she is such a publicity hog the thought of Playboy would appeal to her. Of course she threw out the letter from Hefner. ;) LOL She has no problem having her children photographed in varying stages of nudity so she wouldn't blink an eye about stripping down herself. Gee, we've seen the pink pantie shots in the tabloids, not to mention the down the dress boob pics! Only some sheeple mother would buy the issue featuring Kate.
There is no way that Hugh Heffner would pick a PIG like Kate G. for Playboy. Only in her dreams. She would take off every stitch and run down Madison Ave in NYC if she could get $400,000. Have you seen the big red ropey scar across her hips and abdomen? They would have to put a paper bag over her head for anyone to look at her. She is a mean, vile, witch.
Loo, there is no way that she could ever go on welfare! First she would have to sell her mansion. She has $20 bills buried all over the place from the sale of pics of her children.
Kate didn't write the books. The first book was written by Beth Carson and the other one by a ghostwriter. Kate is stupid and can't write a thank you note without help.
Sounds like another one of the rumors you can't believe. Kate is a great Mom. She is just trying to make a living to support the kids. Jon sure isn't going to provide any kind of support.

Kate is a great mom!! People need to quit being so judgmental. Until you have 8 kids, oh I mean 9(including Jon)you don't know what kind of choices you would make!I don't agree with everything Kate has done, but everyone makes mistakes,especially raising kids. Let's just hope that Jon bounces back sooner than later for the kids!
