There has been some questioning as of late about why former "Jon and Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin travels up to an hour to Wayne, Pennsylvania just in order to hit up Whole Foods Market for groceries. A new story from Hollywood Life even says that they have reached out to grocery chain in order to solve a "pressing mystery" -- why is the reality TV mom going so far just to hit up a specific grocery store?
As strange as it may seem, the answer is actually quite simple. In her new book I Just Want You to Know, Kate details how important organic food is to her family -- especially fruit and vegetables. She used to stop by her Amish friend Henry's farm in order to purchase the produce (something that was even shown in one episode of "Jon and Kate"), but that has been next to impossible since moving to the Wernersville property.
Therefore, Whole Foods is really the closest place to Kate's home that really offers a full selection of organic, healthy foods that lack some of the additives in other grocery chains. That seems to ultimately be the answer to a question that not too many people may have cared about. (Yes, it is a slow Gosselin news day -- Jon and Kate, do something!)

No offense meant to Kate, but Elizabethtown, her former hang out, is an hour in the opposite direction. If it takes the same amount of travel time, why would she choose to patronize Whole Foods instead of friend Henry?
she is out of her mind. she live in berks county which is a hot spot for organic farms, farmers markets and fresh produce anywhere you turn in summertime. she is a complete ass and really has no clue what she is doing. whole foods is a rip off made for rich folks that think they are eating right.
